These Payment Terms govern all payments made to The Lab Creative Agency Ltd for subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to these terms and our Employer Terms.
1. Subscription Pricing
The Lab offers transparent subscription pricing with no recruitment commission:
- Founding Employer: 30 days of complimentary access, followed by the option to continue on a paid plan
- Growth Plan: £99 per month or £999 per year
- Pro Plan: £249 per month or £2,499 per year
We never take a percentage of candidate salaries. The subscription fee is the only cost, regardless of how many candidates you hire. All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
2. Stripe Payment
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your card details on our servers. Stripe is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1, the highest level of certification available. By subscribing, you authorise Stripe to charge your chosen payment method for the subscription amount.
3. Automatic Recurring Billing
Subscriptions are billed automatically on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can choose monthly or annual billing. Payment is processed in advance for each billing period. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period using the payment method on file.
4. Automatic Invoices and Payment Confirmations
Stripe automatically generates invoices and sends payment confirmation emails after each successful payment. You will receive an email receipt for every transaction. Invoices are also available for download from your Stripe customer portal, accessible via your employer dashboard.
5. Subscription Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You will be charged the same rate as your current plan unless we notify you of a price change at least 30 days in advance. Annual subscribers are billed once per year. Monthly subscribers are billed once per month.
6. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your employer dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to paid features until the end of the period you have paid for. Upon cancellation, your employer account reverts to the Founding Employer tier and your company profile remains active.
7. Refund Policy
Subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by law. If you cancel mid-period, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time. See our Refund Policy for full details.
8. Price Changes
We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be charged the current rate until the end of their billing period, after which the new rate applies. You may cancel before the new rate takes effect to avoid being charged the higher price.
9. Failed Payments
If a payment fails, Stripe will attempt to retry the payment. If the payment remains unsuccessful, your subscription may be marked as past due and access to paid features may be restricted. You will be notified by email if a payment fails.
10. Governing Law
These Payment Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
